Sync In-Game Quests
Note: Warcraft Quests is no longer available on the App store. If you already purchased the app, thank you for your support; you should still be able to use it and sync your in-game quests.
Synchronize your completed quests with the Warcraft Quests app in a few easy steps.
The only available option to retrieve the list of completed quests is in-game, using a custom add-on. You can now sync the list by transferring the in-game data to the iPhone app via the internet (using our server as host). Most of the process is automated with a simple application you run on the same computer running World of Warcraft.
Part 1: Collect and upload
The program available for download below is a stand-alone Windows/Mac executable that allows you to install the add-on for World of Warcraft and upload the list of quests to our server with a few clicks. Simply run it on the same computer running the game whenever you want to sync the quests with the iPhone app, which retrieves the quests using the character name and realm.

The steps in the program will turn green or red depending on status.
Step 1: Locate the World of Warcraft game folder.
When you run the application, it will automatically try to detect the game location. If it can’t, click the Browse button and manually select the location (make sure you select the top “World of Warcraft” folder, the one that contains the “Interface” and “WTF” folders).
Step 2: Install and use the add-on.
Click the Install/Uninstall button to install or remove the add-on. Make sure the add-on is installed and enabled properly by clicking AddOns on the character select screen (in-game) and checking the list for “wowQuestsSync”. If the program has problems installing the add-on, you can install it manually by downloading it here and extracting it to the “World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns” folder.
Step 3: Save and upload list.
Log in to each character you want to sync and type /wowQuests (you can also use /wowquest or /wowq). You should see a status message indicating success. When you log out the list will be saved and you can retrieve it using the “wowQestsSync” program. Simply click the “Refresh” button and the list of characters is populated. Select the characters you want to upload using the checkboxes then click “Upload to Internet”.
Part 2: Download and sync
Finally, sync the quests with the iPhone app. Click the “Characters” button on the first page when you launch the Warcraft Quests iPhone app. Then click “Add New Character”, type in the character name and realm (as it is shown in the Windows/ Mac program checkbox list) and click “Download From Internet”. That’s it!
